Lanice C. Williams is the Advocacy & Partnerships Manager at Friends of the Global Fight. In this role, she coordinates Friends’ partnerships with business, faith-based, youth, and other civil society communities in united advocacy for U.S. leadership fighting the HIV, TB, and malaria epidemics through the Global Fund and bilateral programs. She also contributes to Friends’ research and writing on the Global Fund, ending the epidemics, and global health security.
Prior to joining Friends, she served as a 2016-2017 Global Health Corps fellow at Global Health Council. Previously, she was a Program Specialist with the Government of the District of Columbia. She has also worked on programs, research, and policy initiatives focused on gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health, and disease prevention.
Lanice earned a B.S. in Biology and M.S. in Health Education at Howard University, where she serves as an adjunct lecturer
