Rachel Irwin is the Associate Director of Communications at Friends of the Global Fight, where she focuses primarily on writing, editing and media outreach.
Rachel got her start as a journalist, and spent several years covering international war crime trials in The Hague and post-conflict issues in the former Yugoslavia. Prior to joining Friends, Rachel was a Senior Writer at RESULTS, an anti-poverty advocacy organization in DC.
Rachel has a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a M.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University.
