Simon Stack is the Policy Director at Friends of the Global Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Simon is responsible for engaging with Congress and building coalitions within the NGO community to advocate for U.S. support for the Global Fund and bilateral health programs.
Prior to joining Friends, Simon served on the Democratic staff of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations from 2018-2024. Simon advised senators on U.S.-Africa relations and global health policy, drafted and negotiated foreign policy legislation and conducted oversight of federal agencies.
Simon is currently pursuing an M.A. in Security Studies at Georgetown University and earned a B.A. in International Relations from GWU.
