Aria Vyas is the Senior Manager of Digital Communications at Friends of the Global Fight, where she leads the organization’s digital strategy to advance U.S. support for the Global Fund, foreign aid and related global health policies. She began her career as an intern at Friends in 2018 and has since built a strong foundation in public health, leveraging data-driven storytelling to improve understanding and impact among diverse audiences.
Aria holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts from The George Washington University. Her writing has appeared in Proto Life, covering topics in global health and scientific innovation, including a 2022 article on endometriosis which received national recognition from experts and advocates. In 2024, Aria led efforts that resulted in a bipartisan resolution from the New York State Senate declaring March as Endometriosis Awareness Month in New York State.
