Friends mourns the passing of Rep. Kay Granger

Friends mourns the passing of Congresswoman Kay Granger. As the lead Republican on the Appropriations Committee and before it, the State and Foreign Operations Subcommittee, Congresswoman Granger was a stalwart supporter of PEPFAR, the President’s Malaria Initiative and the Global Fund. She helped sustain bipartisan consensus and cooperation against AIDS, TB and malaria, championing continued U.S. leadership in global health. We are grateful for her leadership and commitment to saving lives around the world, and our thoughts are with her family.
